Bullock Statement on AG Roy Cooper Entering NC Gov. Race

Today, Democratic Governors Association Chair, Montana Gov. Steve Bullock, released the following statement on Attorney General Roy Cooper announcing his candidacy for Governor of North Carolina:
“I’ve know Roy Cooper for years from our work together as attorneys general. As attorney general, he’s taken on big banks and corporations who have taken advantage of people, and recouped millions for taxpayers.
“Attorney General Cooper’s record of fighting for middle-class families is a strong contrast to Governor Pat McCrory’s record of fighting for special interests. It’s no wonder that Pat McCrory is the most vulnerable incumbent governor in the country. Governor McCrory has proven time and time again that North Carolina residents can’t trust him to be on their side.”
