Biggs and Taylor Robson “Race to the Right” as They Support Slashing Medicaid and Side With Trump on Epstein

As the GOP primary for governor ramps up, the Arizona Capitol Times is outlining how both Andy Biggs and Karrin Taylor Robson are locked in a “race to the right” by taking harmful positions like being “supportive of cuts to Medicaid” — no matter how much they hurt Arizonans.

Just this week, local health care leaders sounded the alarm on the Medicaid cuts that Biggs and Taylor Robson support, saying “we’re going to be cutting everywhere” and to “anticipate a sizeable increase in the number of uninsured in the State.”

This comes as the Arizona Republic details another key example of how both Biggs and Taylor Robson are putting extreme partisan politics first: by “carefully aligning with” Donald Trump on keeping the Epstein files hidden.

As the Arizona Republic notes, Taylor Robson called the push to release the Epstein files a “distraction,” saying that she “stand[s] with what President Trump has said.” And despite his past calls for transparency, Biggs voted against a bipartisan measure to release the files.

Aside from the Epstein files, Biggs and Taylor Robson both agree on an extreme right-wing agenda that includes ripping health care away from Arizonans, threatening food assistance for working families, and the job-killing tariffs that are hiking taxes and costing small businesses.

“From covering for pedophiles to slashing health care for working families, Andy Biggs and Karrin Taylor Robson are doing everything they can to run to the far right because they’re scared of losing Trump’s endorsement,” said DGA Communications Director Sam Newton. “This nasty primary is just getting started, and it’s already clear Biggs and Taylor Robson will shamelessly put loyalty to their shared extreme agenda first — no matter how much it hurts Arizona families.”
