Bad Case of the Mondays for Vivek Ramaswamy: Pedophile Ad Stays On the Air, May Have Lied in Voter Registration

Bad Case of the Mondays for Vivek Ramaswamy: Pedophile Ad Stays On the Air, May Have Lied in Voter Registration

Another week is off to a rocky start for Vivek Ramaswamy. For one thing, his campaign ad featuring a registered sex offender who did time for non-consensual acts against his niece is still up on the airwaves. Now, a new investigation reveals that Ramaswamy seems to be listing a home address on his New York (you read that right — not Ohio) Bar registration that does not match the home address on his voter registration, in a potential violation of either Ohio’s voter registration laws or the New York bar’s guidelines.

According to Meidas Touch, Ramaswamy listed an address on his New York bar registration in West Chester, Ohio – a different address than the Columbus address where public records show he is registered to vote. As the report notes, “It appears that Ramaswamy is either violating New York attorney registration rules, or committing a 5th degree felony by registering to vote in a precinct that does not contain his primary residence.”

  • Ohio Republican Gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has a discrepancy in his bar registration that appears to violate New York Attorney registration rules, or if not, Ohio voter registration law, despite his zealous campaigning against voter fraud.
  • In July 2026, Ramaswamy listed a West Chester, Ohio residence as his home address according to the New York State attorney registration record. But Ramaswamy registered to vote in 2021 at a residence in Columbus, Ohio. New York requires attorneys to list their “home address” on their registration and to file an amended statement within 30 days of any change; noncompliance may result in disciplinary action. [22 NYCRR § 118.1(e)(8), (f), (h)]. Rules of professional attorney conduct prohibit, “engag[ing] in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation.”
  • Alternatively, if he does not actually live at the Columbus address but rather in West Chester, he should not be registered to vote there. Ohio law doesn’t draw a distinction between a “home address” and “residence.” He should not have an attorney registration at a different address than where he is registered to vote. Ohio defines a voter’s residence as, “the place where the voter’s habitation is fixed and to which the voter intends to return” and makes it a fifth-degree felony to knowingly register in a precinct where one is not a qualified voter.
  • Ramaswamy attested to the truthfulness in his attorney registration listing his home address in West Chester, signing and affirming, “the statements contained herein are true to the best of my knowledge and belief.” Ramaswamy renewed his New York bar license in 2026, but registered at his Ohio home. He has never registered for the Ohio bar, despite running for Governor of the state and living there since 2019.
  • If Ramaswamy is voting in a district in which he does not live he is guilty of voter fraud, precisely an issue he has spoken out against so forcefully as a Trump MAGA Republican; going so far as to advocate for voter ID to be enshrined in the Ohio state constitution.
  • It appears that Ramaswamy is either violating New York attorney registration rules, or committing a 5th degree felony by registering to vote in a precinct that does not contain his primary residence.
