As Pressure Mounts, Sears “Remains Silent” on Plans to Ban Abortion and Cut Medicaid
As she’s done throughout the entirety of her campaign, Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears is refusing to comment on her extreme anti-abortion record and is now refusing to speak out against Donald Trump’s disastrous plan to gut Medicaid.
Sears has come under fire for her refusal to address recently unearthed audio in which she outlines her plans for an extreme, near-total abortion ban in Virginia, as pressure mounts on her to tell Virginians where she stands on devastating Medicaid cuts that could result in more than 200,000 Virginians losing their health care.
The Sears campaign even ejected a reporter from an event in Falls Church to avoid answering questions about her refusal to speak out on Medicaid cuts.
