As Jackson and Trump Rally Together, Here Are 10 Times Jackson Stood with Trump Over Georgians

Today, Rick Jackson joined Donald Trump at his event in Georgia. It’s just the latest reminder that Jackson has completely aligned himself with Donald Trump – and has promised to bring his agenda to Georgia if elected governor.

Here are 10 times Rick Jackson stood with Trump over Georgians:

1. Jackson is campaigning to be “Trump’s favorite governor.”

2. Jackson has repeatedly promised to be “Trump with a southern tone”.

3. He “said he couldn’t name a single White House policy he disagrees with.”

4. While Donald Trump attacks Medicaid in DC, Jackson promised to deny Georgians access to health care by blocking Medicaid expansion — despite nine rural hospitals closing already, and more remaining at risk of closure.

5. Jackson bragged that he made money off Trump’s tariffs that have driven up the cost of essentials, hurt Georgia farmers, and slowed business out of the Port of Savannah. He has refused to speak out against Trump’s latest round of Canadian tariffs.

6. While gas prices surge due to Trump’s reckless war in Iran, he said he’d run Georgia’s economy “just like Trump.”

7. Like Trump, he has denied the results of the 2020 election in Georgia.

8. He supported Trump’s disastrous budget bill that kicked half a million Georgians off their health care because it cut his own taxes by 40%.

9. Jackson has given big to Trump – giving him a million before entering the race and dumping another $1 million into Trump’s PAC just days before the GOP runoff, after Trump had already endorsed his opponent.

10. In line with Trump’s scheme to rig the midterms, Jackson called on the Georgia legislature to redraw maps and effectively end fair and equal representation and “erase” the political power of Black Georgians.

“Rick Jackson has made crystal clear: he is for Donald Trump and his cost-raising agenda – even when it hurts Georgia,” said DGA spokesperson Kevin Donohoe. “Georgians need a governor who will fight for them – not a Trump sycophant.”
