As Glenn Youngkin Dodges Questions on Whether He Wants Donald Trump to Campaign for Him, the DGA Calls on Glenn to Answer the Question:
After Donald Trump phoned into a rally for Glenn Youngkin to endorse him for furthering the MAGA movement, Youngkin happily accepted his praise — but today, he avoided answering whether he wants Trump to campaign with him.
Youngkin has tried and failed to distance himself from the rally, which featured Trump’s ‘Big Lie’ and a Pledge of Allegiance to a flag that was present at the deadly January 6 insurrection.
The following is a statement from DGA Communications Director David Turner in response to Youngkin’s embrace of Trump and the far-right:
