Andy Biggs Calls Democrats “Domestic Terrorists” in Dangerous Rant
A new report from Arizona’s Family revealed GOP gubernatorial candidate Congressman Andy Biggs going on a dangerous rant and calling Democrats “political terrorists, just like they are domestic terrorists.”
An Arizona Republican consultant called Biggs’ extreme comments “well beyond the pale of what is common sense and decency.” Reached for comment, Biggs’ campaign refused to take accountability.
Biggs’ comments are pushing the already chaotic primary with Karrin Taylor Robson and David Schweikert even further to the right. Notably, this comes as Biggs has not shown up to work in nearly a month after he voted to cut health care and is refusing to work across the aisle to lower health care costs.
“Andy Biggs referring to his political opponents as ‘domestic terrorists’ is alarming,” said DGA Communications Director Sam Newton. “Biggs’ refusal to take accountability for these dangerous comments is the latest proof that he’s too extreme and should never be governor of Arizona.”
