After Shocking Revelation That Gov. Chris Sununu Gave Pandemic Funding to Crisis Pregnancy Center, Planned Parenthood NH Action Fund PAC Endorses Democratic Candidate Dan Feltes

There continues to be no doubt that Gov. Chris Sununu is enacting Donald Trump’s agenda in New Hampshire. Sununu has tried to hide his anti-choice views but a new report shows he approved funding for an anti-science, anti-choice group. Like Trump, Sununu supports stripping away access to vital reproductive health care services.

The report shows Sununu granted tax-payer funded pandemic emergency dollars to a crisis pregnancy center known for spreading misinformation about reproductive health and manipulating pregnant people to prevent them from getting abortions.

Sununu also uses his veto power to support the Trump-Sununu anti-reproductive health care agenda. Last month, Sununu vetoed a bill that would have required commercial health insurance plans that cover maternity services to also cover abortions.

Following the revelations surrounding the funding for the crisis pregnancy center and Sununu’s clear anti-choice record, Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund PAC endorsed Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dan Feltes. 

“Under Chris Sununu and Donald Trump, Granite Staters now have to fear taxpayer dollars going to an anti-science, anti-choice organization,” said DGA National Press Secretary Jerusalem Demsas. “Sununu has followed Trump’s lead on this – in the midst of a pandemic, Sununu granted emergency funding to an organization with a history of misleading pregnant people seeking help, and he used his veto power to block expanded reproductive health care coverage. A vote for Sununu is a vote for Trump’s anti-choice agenda.”
