404: Winsome Earle-Sears Standing up For Virginians Not Found
On the heels of Donald Trump and Elon Musk revealing a plan that would eliminate the jobs of thousands of Virginians, Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears is refusing to take meaningful steps to protect the people of her state.
New reporting from The Bulwark reveals that “Online attempts yesterday to soothe Virginia’s laid-off federal workers weren’t going much better. Lieutenant Gov. Winsome Sears, who is running to replace the term-limited Youngkin, released a direct-to-camera video acknowledging ‘concern about the federal government workforce transition,’ and sharing five links to ‘additional resources to assist.’ All five links led to broken ‘404 Page Not Found’ website errors.”
“After staying silent for days, Winsome Earle-Sears was not only unable to deliver clear answers to Virginians who are worried about the future of critical programs and their jobs as they come under attack by Donald Trump and Elon Musk, to make matters worse, she also directed them to a dead end,” said DGA National Press Secretary Devon Cruz. “If Sears cannot even tweet out live links for laid-off Virginians, how could she ever be able to run the commonwealth as governor?”
