1 Day Left: Will Trump Campaign With Ed Gillespie?

President Trump leaves the country tomorrow, meaning today is his very last chance to cross the Potomac and campaign with his endorsed candidate in Virginia, Ed Gillespie. So will he do it? Will he make an appearance on the campaign trail to unify his base around Gillespie and fire them up heading into GOTV weekend? Or will he continue to sit on the sidelines, wary of a potentially embarrassing defeat for the career lobbyist?  

“It’s now or never—will President Trump finally campaign with Ed Gillespie?” asked DGA Communications Director Jared Leopold. “Gillespie has embraced Trump’s policies and fear-mongering campaign strategies, but will he finally have the chance to embrace the President himself at a campaign event before it’s too late?
