Washington, DC – Governor Martin O’Malley, chair of the Democratic Governors Association, released the following statement tonight on the results of theWashington blanket primary:
“Jay Inslee remains the clear choice for voters who want to continue to build a working Washington, creating the 21st century jobs and expanding opportunity that will move their economy forward.
“Rob McKenna is totally out of touch with Washington families – supporting devastating cuts to education and failing to offer Washingtonians any solid vision of how he would expand access to quality, affordable healthcare.
“Washingtonians have a clear choice in November, and the DGA is fully committed to ensuring Washington keeps moving forward with Jay Inslee as governor.”
