DGA Statement on Washington State Case Blocking Trump Travel Ban
Today, the Democratic Governors Association released the following statement on the federal court ruling halting President Donald Trump’s executive order on refugees. The ruling was based on a case filed by Washington state and supported by Washington Gov. Jay Inslee.
“This is a major victory for states in pushing back on the out-of-control Trump agenda,” said DGA Executive Director Elisabeth Pearson. “Democratic governors are the first line of defense against Donald Trump. Our governors will stand up and protect their citizens against federal overreach.”
