DGA Congratulates Tom Wolf on His Victory in Pennsylvania

WASHINGTON, DC – Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin, Chair of the Democratic Governors Association, tonight issued the following statement congratulating Tom Wolf on his historic victory in Pennsylvania:

“Never before has an incumbent governor in Pennsylvania been defeated for reelection, but that changed tonight. Tom Wolf inspired voters in every region with his tireless energy on the campaign trail and his vision for creating the fresh start that the people of Pennsylvania so badly need. Over the next four years, Governor-elect Wolf will focus on rebuilding Pennsylvania’s schools, attracting manufacturing jobs back to the Commonwealth, and making sure that all Pennsylvania families have an opportunity to succeed.
