Bruce Blakeman is a MAGA Republican who will do whatever Trump wants, even when it’s bad for New York.
Starting immediately, voters, especially voters 18-54 years old, registered independents, Black voters, Hispanic voters, and voters in New York City, should see ads on broadcast TV, OTT, and streaming that communicate the following:
- Bruce Blakeman is a MAGA puppet who will put what Trump wants before what New York needs. Voters should learn that Blakeman agreed he is “MAGA all the way” and that Trump called Blakeman “100% MAGA.”
- Blakeman will raise costs on New Yorkers, saying he would “of course” cut New York’s Medicaid program, threatening 6.5 million New Yorkers’ health coverage. He supports Trump’s budget that kicks 450,000 New Yorkers off their health insurance and raises health insurance costs by 40% to give tax cuts to billionaires and large corporations.
- Blakeman would welcome ICE’s lawlessness to New York, allow them to target American citizens with no accountability, and embrace their aggressive tactics–the same ICE that is killing American citizens and zip-tying children.
- Blakeman created an armed civilian militia of MAGA loyalists to act as his own personal law enforcement, including individuals with apparent arrest records.
