GOP Poll Shows Koster’s Lead Growing in MO-Gov

New Republican poll shows Koster above 50%, lead up 6-points from last week

A new poll released today shows Democratic Attorney General Chris Koster extending his lead in Missouri’s gubernatorial race.

The poll, conducted by Republican pollster Remington Research Group for the Missouri Times from September 26-27, shows Koster leading GOP opponent Eric Greitens by a 16-point margin, 51% to 37%. 

The new numbers show a 6-point increase in Koster’s lead from a Remington poll last week that put Koster at 47% and Greitens at 37%. A previous September poll from Remington had Koster up 46-42%.

Koster has also maintained wide fundraising leads over Greitens, raising over $9.4 million – more than triple that of Greitens. Koster has also earned significant endorsements from the Missouri Farm Bureau, the National Rifle Association, and the Missouri Fraternal Order of the Police.

Meanwhile, Eric Greitens continues to falter over his record of accepting ethically questionable campaign donations and personally pocketing more than $700,000 from a charity designed to support veterans. When it comes to moving Missouri forward, Chris Koster is the clear choice.”
