Tudor Dixon Says 14-Year-Old Raped by Uncle is “Perfect Example” of Why Abortion Should Be Banned Without Exceptions for Rape or Incest

In a shocking interview that shines more light on her radical stance on abortion rights, GOP candidate for governor in Michigan Tudor Dixon said the scenario of a 14-year-old girl being raped by her uncle is a “perfect example” of why she supports banning abortion with no exceptions for rape or incest.

Dixon, a far-right online radio commentator and former low-budget zombie movie actress, has based her campaign on extreme policies and bonkers conspiracy theories about overturning the 2020 election. Dixon has called Michigan’s draconian 1931 abortion ban, which has no exceptions for rape or incest, a “good law.”

Like Dixon, the rest of the GOP field — Kevin Rinke, Ryan Kelley, Ralph Rebrandt, and Garrett Soldano — have all already said they support banning abortion with no exceptions for rape or incest while refusing to denounce GOP-backed legislation to throw health care providers in prison.

“This video is deeply alarming and once again exposes Tudor Dixon’s dangerous plans to ban abortion in Michigan with no exceptions,” said DGA Deputy Communications Director Sam Newton. “Dixon’s radical agenda is out-of-touch with Michiganders, and her full embrace of extremism isn’t slowing down anytime soon.”
