DGA Statement on Trump Administration’s Plan To Undermine Medicaid
DGA Chair New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy today released the following statement on the Trump administration’s plan to allow states to apply for a Medicaid block grant waiver:
“This newest plan by the Trump administration is yet another blatant attempt by President Trump to rip away health care from American families. Promoting Medicaid block grants will put Americans’ lives and the quality of care they can receive at risk, and threaten to reverse the benefits our country has seen under the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid expansion. This is another shameful act by President Trump that attacks all Americans’ right to accessible, affordable health care.”
