Statement from DGA Chair Governor Martin O’Malley on the Results of the North Carolina Gubernatorial Election
Washington, DC – Governor Martin O’Malley, Chair of the Democratic Governors Association, released the following statement tonight on the results of the North Carolina gubernatorial election:
“Walter Dalton ran a strong, hard-fought campaign focused on creating jobs and protecting investments in education, and we know Lieutenant Governor Dalton will continue to serve the people of North Carolina with great integrity. We congratulate Pat McCrory on his victory tonight, and hope that he rejects the Tea Party agenda of the NC legislature while working to move North Carolina forward.”
