NH State Senate’s Latest Attack on Abortion Rights Reminds Granite Staters of Stakes of NH-GOV Race
In response to this week’s vote further attacking reproductive rights and privacy in New Hampshire, DGA Deputy Communications Director Izzi Levy released the following statement:
“This vote is just the latest reminder that reproductive freedom is on the ballot in the New Hampshire governor’s race this year.
“With a narrowly divided legislature, and Republicans eagerly pushing to further attack abortion rights and strip away Granite Staters’ right to privacy, New Hampshire’s next governor will play a pivotal role in defending or undermining reproductive freedom — and you only have to look at the records of Kelly Ayotte and Chuck Morse to know that they would gladly sign away more of Granite Staters’ most fundamental freedoms.”
Both candidates have long track records of attacking Granite Staters’ reproductive rights, despite Granite Staters’ overwhelming preference for a candidate for governor who will protect reproductive freedom.
