NEW: Winsome Earle-Sears Comes Out in Support of Trump’s Tax Hikes as Virginians Suffer

Sears on Trump’s Tax Hike: “I think that’s good”

Newly unearthed audio of Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears reveals that while her campaign was telling reporters that she “wouldn’t comment on the tariff issue,” in private she was telling supporters that she thinks the massively increasing prices across everyday goods and services is “good” and to the “benefit” of Virginians.

This comes as no surprise as Sears has been embracing Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s attacks on Virginia’s workers and economy, saying that she “doesn’t understand why” Virginians getting laid off is a “huge, huge thing.”

“There is no more hiding for Winsome Earle-Sears, Virginians now know exactly where she stands and that she cannot be trusted to protect their jobs or Virginia’s economy,” said DGA National Press Secretary Devon Cruz. “As the economy gets thrown into chaos, how many Virginians need to lose their jobs before Sears stands up to Trump? And why was she lying about her support for Trump’s job-killing agenda in public but saying another thing in private?”
