Mikie Sherrill Rolls Out Her Plan to Lower Costs, Create Jobs by Increasing Government Efficiency

Yesterday, Mikie Sherrill announced her “Save You Time and Money” agenda to lower costs, create more jobs, and grow New Jersey’s economy by increasing government efficiency in Trenton.

While Sherrill is laying out a commonsense agenda to make New Jersey more affordable, Jack Ciattarelli has spent the summer touting his loyalty to Donald Trump and his support for Trump’s deeply unpopular budget that guts Medicaid, rips away food benefits from New Jersey kids, kills jobs, forces hospitals to close, and drives energy costs higher.

  Democratic Rep. Mikie Sherrill wants to make New Jersey government more efficient — and no, it doesn’t involve DOGE. Sherrill rolled out her latest policy plan in the race for governor on Thursday, focused on “modernizing our agencies and cutting through red tape,” she said… Sherrill blamed the “bogged down” permitting process for holding up affordable housing and clean energy projects that could lower costs, and said she would work to speed up the approval process.
