Democratic governors are leading the fight against Donald Trump and his administration – and they need your help. Trump and his allies have hundreds of millions of dollars to attack our candidates, and we have to make sure we’ve got the resources to fight back. With 36 races on the map this November, 80% of Americans will cast their vote for their next governor. We need to invest NOW to expand our map, win in battleground states, protect our blue firewall of Dem govs, and flip critical states from red to blue. Can Dem govs count on you to chip in right now?

Robinson on rolling back reproductive freedom: “We have to continue to fight…”
In his closing message to voters in the GOP primary next week, Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson made sure to remind voters that he wants to continue to see reproductive freedom rolled back in North Carolina, and is still set on ensuringwomen “can’t have an abortion in North Carolina for any reason.”
In new remarks on video from the campaign trail, Mark Robinson expresses his desire to continue rolling back reproductive freedom in North Carolina, “We rolled it back from 20 weeks to 12 weeks. That’s where it’s sitting right now. Sure would we like to see it go on back? Absolutely we want to see it go on back. We want to continue to fight the road on that…We have to continue to fight.”
Robinson has previously praised attacks on reproductive freedom by saying, “We got it down to 12 weeks. The next goal is to get it down to six, and then just keep moving from there.”
“Mark Robinson has made it clear that he is running for governor to continue the attacks on reproductive freedom and completely ban abortion in North Carolina,” said DGA National Press Secretary Devon Cruz. “North Carolinians deserve better than an anti-choice extremist governor who would continue the attacks on reproductive freedom, and further strip North Carolina’s women and girls of their fundamental rights.”
