Tonight, Connecticut Gov. Dan Malloy, Chair of the Democratic Governors Association, issued the following statement on Gov. Jay Inslee winning re-election in Washington state:
“Tonight, Governor Jay Inslee won re-election on his strong record of economic leadership in Washington state,” Gov. Malloy said. “Under Governor Inslee, voters have seen unemployment held to its lowest levels since 2008, the largest cuts to college tuition in state history, and record investment in the state’s roads and infrastructure. At the DGA, we’re proud of Governor Inslee’s service as our Vice Chair – and we look forward to his continued leadership in advancing progressive policies around the nation.”
