Low Blows and Nasty Attacks Expected in Tonight’s NJ GOP Primary Debate
New Jersey’s GOP candidates for governor will face off on the debate stage tonight – the sequel to their first nasty showdown in February. If the last debate is any indication, viewers can expect an evening of “Trump-fueled chaos” and “bickering” as Bill Spadea and Jack Ciattarelli “pull no punches,” trading nasty personal attacks and tearing each other down, as they focus more on their MAGA bonafides than on the issues that matter most to New Jersey families. “
New Jersey voters tuning in to tonight’s debate are in for a drama-filled brawl, but if they’re hoping to hear about the candidates’ plans to bring down costs and invest in their communities, they will be deeply disappointed,” said DGA Spokesperson Izzi Levy. “Since day one of this race, Bill Spadea and Jack Ciattarelli have been laser-focused on one thing: winning over Donald Trump. As these candidates yet again battle to see who can stake out the most extreme territory, they’re only giving voters more proof that they couldn’t be more wrong for New Jersey.”
