Joe Lombardo Claims Trump’s “Doing a Fantastic Job” While Costs Soar Across Nevada
Last week, the most vulnerable Republican governor in the country Joe Lombardo lavished praise on Donald Trump in an interview with the Nevada Independent, affirming that he’s “still a fan of President Trump” and even claiming that Trump is “doing a fantastic job” despite gas prices soaring and costs continuing to rise for Nevadans.
Lombardo even doubled down on his support for Trump’s cost-raising tariffs, which he’s said Nevadans should “feel a little pain” from.
“While Joe Lombardo praises Trump, Nevadans are suffering from his administration’s reckless, disastrous agenda that Lombardo has been eager to endorse,” said DGA Deputy Communications Director Johanna Warshaw. “Trump’s illegal tariffs are forcing small businesses to close their doors and making life more expensive for Nevada families, but Lombardo thinks all of that is ‘fantastic.’”
