Jack Ciattarelli and Vivek Ramaswamy Have More In Common Than Just Losing Campaigns

Tonight, most of the New Jersey Republican field running for governor, including two-time failed GOP gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli, will appear at the same event as failed presidential candidate, DOGE reject, and fellow gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy at an event in Atlantic City.

As Ciattarelli continues to go full MAGA in a transparent play to win over Trump and his base, here are just a few positions he shares with Ramaswamy:

  • They both support abolishing the Department of Education.
  • They both support eliminating the U.S. Constitution’s promise of birthright citizenship.
  • They both support Elon Musk’s disastrous DOGE scheme that threatens tens of thousands of jobs and takes aim at key programs like Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare that millions of American people rely on.
  • They both support pardoning violent criminals who attacked the U.S. Capitol and police officers on January 6.

Ramaswamy also supports an extreme six week abortion ban – before many women even know they are pregnant. Ahead of tonight’s event, New Jersey voters deserve to know: does Jack Ciattarelli support Vivek Ramaswamy’s call for an extreme 6-week abortion ban? 

“When Jack Ciattarelli takes the stage in Atlantic City tonight to pander to the most extreme wing of his party, he’s reminding New Jersey voters exactly why they shouldn’t roll the dice on their lives and livelihoods by supporting him for governor,”said DGA Campaign Communications Advisor Emma O’Brien. “Touting the support of MAGA extremists isn’t the trump card Ciattarelli thinks it is. Every day, he proves there’s no position too extreme or out of touch if he thinks it will help get him closer to a Trump endorsement. He’s in this race for Trump, not New Jersey families.”
