In Nasty GOP Debate, Ciattarelli and Singh Scramble to Prove Allegiance to Donald “The Republican Standard Bearer” Trump

Latest News

Amid the self-proclaimed “Civil War” that is the New Jersey GOP primary, Jack Ciattarelli and Hirsh Singh have finally found something to agree on. Despite endless bickering and crosstalk in last night’s debate, both Republicans boasted their support for failed former President Donald Trump.

Keyboard warriors Ciattarelli and Singh have desperately fought to out-Trump each other online, and their infighting continued last night, with Singh calling Trump “the greatest president of my lifetime.”

Ciattarelli, who’s running scared of losing the far-right vote, called Trump “the standard-bearer” of the party. His latest ad accused Singh of being a “fake MAGA candidate.”

In a race to see who can harm New Jerseyans the most, the two also agreed to throw out common-sense gun control policies, collaborate with ICE, and restrict access to reproductive health care.

Beyond the GOP name-calling and politically motivated lies, Gov. Phil Murphy has remained focused on safely re-opening the state and protecting the right to choose.

“As the New Jersey GOP implodes, Jack Ciattarelli and Hirsh Singh agreed on one thing: they’re more loyal to Trump than they are to the hard-working people of New Jersey,” said DGA Senior Communications Advisor Christina Amestoy. “The debate last night proved that neither candidate is qualified to govern the great state of New Jersey. Ciattarelli and Singh are divisive, lying, and they’ve repeatedly failed to denounce violent extremism. New Jerseyans deserve better.”
