In last night’s gubernatorial debate in Minnesota, Gov. Tim Walz demonstrated to Minnesotans why he’s the best candidate to lead the state forward for four more years.

Meanwhile, Jensen’s most substantive moment was when asked to say one nice thing about Tim Walz, he said “I’ve thought about this question. I think Tim Walz is an affable individual who has a wonderful smile.”

Star Tribune: “Jensen said he wants to cut state spending… while [Walz] stressed his support for abortion access, increasing school funding and combating gun violence.”

Minnesota Reformer: Walz “said the best way for Minnesota to move forward is to continue investing in its future…Jensen was a top opioid prescriber in Minnesota…The campaign said that by total number of days worth of opioid pills prescribed, Jensen ranked in the top 6% of Minnesota physicians: 5,005 days worth of opioid pills to 46 patients that year.”

MPR: “Walz said the state should continue working to prevent guns from getting into the hands of dangerous people by cracking down on straw purchases and support additional funding for law enforcement groups.”
