Gov. Hobbs Outraises All AZ GOP Candidates in Q1 – Combined

Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs has raised over $1.1 million since the start of the year, outraising the entire Republican gubernatorial field by over $74,000. Gov. Hobbs also closed the most recent fundraising period with over $4 million in cash on hand – four times the amount that Karrin Taylor Robson and Andy Biggs have, combined.

These numbers come as Arizona Republicans’ increasingly nasty, messy, and expensive primary entered a new phase this week when Donald Trump delivered a huge blow to Taylor Robson’s campaign yesterday by announcing a new, dual endorsement of both her and Biggs. Trump’s snub was quickly followed by new polling that showed Biggs leading Taylor Robson by 29 points – the second poll just this month showing her on a glide path to losing the GOP nomination (again).

“While Karrin Taylor Robson and Andy Biggs are stuck in a nasty, divisive, and costly race to the far-right, Governor Katie Hobbs continues to build commanding grassroots support based on her record of delivering on the issues that Arizonans care about – lowering costs, keeping families safe, creating jobs, and securing the border,” said DGA National Press Secretary Devon Cruz. “As Arizonans from all corners of the state rally behind Governor Hobbs, Taylor Robson and Biggs’s infighting and lackluster fundraising are further proof that Arizona Republicans can expect a humiliating race to the bottom over the next year and a half.”
