GOP Govs' Partisanship, Divisiveness, Ideology On Full Display
Democratic Governors Association spokesman Danny Kanner today issued the following statement in response to the RGA’s press conference and Replacement-Chair Bobby Jindal’s conduct at the White House:
“With Chris Christie too toxic to be seen with Republican governors running for reelection, Replacement-Chair Bobby Jindal was forced to step up to the plate. Unfortunately, but unsurprisingly given how they govern, Jindal and his colleagues brought a troubling, DC-style level of partisanship, divisiveness, and ideology to the nation’s capital. Combined with their failed “reward-the-rich” economic policies that punish the middle class and their radical social agenda, all of the reasons that Republican candidates for governor will be defeated across the country in November were on full display.”
