Today, 2023 DGA Chair and New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy released the following statement on New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s inauguration:

“Congratulations to New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on her inauguration today. In her first term, Gov. Lujan Grisham brought real results to New Mexico families, spearheading a first-of-its-kind free-college program, securing millions of dollars in economic relief, and bringing innovative solutions to New Mexico’s biggest challenges.

“Now sworn into her second term, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham will continue her fight to create a more affordable, accessible, and inclusive New Mexico where families can thrive. We look forward to standing alongside her in this work and are excited to see all she accomplishes in the next four years.”
