DGA Statement on the Swearing-In of Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear

Today, DGA Chair and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz released the following statement on Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear’s inauguration:

“Congratulations to Gov. Andy Beshear on his inauguration to a second term today.

“In his first term, Gov. Beshear put politics aside and brought Kentuckians together to deliver huge wins for Kentucky families, including landing some of the biggest economic development projects in the commonwealth’s history, improving public education, expanding voting rights, protecting health care, and leading through tough times with compassion. Time and again he showed up for the people of Kentucky, and they know he will continue to build on that legacy in his second term. 

“The DGA was proud to invest a new record of over $20 million to help re-elect Gov. Beshear and to continue our record of competing even in the toughest environments. We congratulate him on earning a second term and look forward to continuing to work beside him over these next four years.”
