Today, 2023 DGA Chair and New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy released the following statement on California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s inauguration:

“Congratulations to Gov. Gavin Newsom on his inauguration to a second term. 

“In his first term, Gov. Newsom promoted a pro-growth agenda while enacting nation-leading policies on climate change and reproductive freedom. 

“Gov. Gavin Newsom will continue to deliver real results for California families — building a stronger, more sustainable, and affordable future for the Golden State. We look forward to seeing the progress he will make in this next term.”
