Today, 2023 DGA Chair and New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy released the following statement on Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs’ inauguration:

“On Election Day, Arizonans chose sanity over chaos and moved the state forward by electing Gov. Katie Hobbs. With her swearing-in today, Katie will continue the crucial work she has dedicated her life in public service to — bringing down costs, protecting reproductive freedoms, and investing in a world-class education for every child in Arizona.  

“Gov. Katie Hobbs has proven her commitment to creating a stronger and more affordable Arizona, and we look forward to standing alongside her as she makes this vision a reality during her first term as governor.”
