DGA Statement on the Maine General Election

Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin, Chair of the Democratic Governors Association, tonight issued the following statement on the Maine general election:
“Mike Michaud has spent his entire career working across the aisle to deliver results for the middle class. He understands the challenges of working people, because he is one of them. While he came up just short tonight, I know that Mike will continue to fight in the years ahead to improve the lives of those struggling to make it. We are proud to have supported his campaign.”
