DGA Statement on New Hampshire GOP Gubernatorial Primary
The Democratic Governors Association released the following statement on the GOP gubernatorial primary in New Hampshire:
“It’s still unclear whether Chris Sununu or Frank Edelblut will emerge from the corrosive Republican primary in New Hampshire,” said DGA Communications Director Jared Leopold. “But either candidate will emerge weakened and deeply out of touch with mainstream New Hampshire voters. Whether it’s Edelblut or Sununu, the Republican nominee for governor will be a candidate who opposes Medicaid expansion, supports defunding Planned Parenthood, and has thrown his weight behind Donald Trump for president.”
