Today, DGA Chair North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper issued the following statement on Mayor Muriel Bowser securing the D.C. Democratic mayoral nomination:

“As D.C.’s chief executive, Mayor Muriel Bowser has taken bold action to boost and diversify D.C’s economy, speed up affordable housing production, and invest in programs and policies that put families first. 

“As Mayor Bowser continues to lead D.C. forward, the DGA is proud to support her reelection.”
