DGA Statement on Kim Reynolds’ Nomination in Iowa

Tonight, Democratic Governors Association Executive Director Elisabeth Pearson released the following statement on Governor Kim Reynolds’ nomination in Iowa:
“Governor Kim Reynolds has failed Iowa by putting her right-wing agenda ahead of the families and small businesses of her state. From education to health care and the economy, Reynolds’ misplaced priorities have lined the pockets of her special interest backers at the expense of everyday Iowans. Children, workers, seniors, and small businesses are paying the price for the Reynolds Budget Crisis, and Iowans have had enough.
“Kim Reynolds is among the most vulnerable incumbents in the country. Reynolds has never won an election statewide at the top of the ticket, and Iowa voters will make sure that remains true this fall.”
