The following is a statement from DGA Chair Gov. Roy Cooper on Gov. Dan McKee’s reelection in Rhode Island:
“Congratulations to Gov. Dan McKee on his reelection as governor of Rhode Island. Rhode Islanders voted for four more years of proven leadership and progress.
“In his first two years as governor, Dan has made historic investments in local businesses, education, and infrastructure. Under his administration, Rhode Island’s economy has grown, and he pushed for policies that benefit all Rhode Islanders. With his win, he can spend the next four years continuing to deliver on his goals and promises while pushing Rhode Island toward a better future.
