DGA Statement on Gov. Phil Scott’s Announcement That He Will Run for Reelection

DGA Executive Director Meghan Meehan-Draper released the following statement on Gov. Phil Scott announcing his reelection campaign:

“Gov. Phil Scott’s decision to seek reelection will only further stifle progress on the issues that Vermont’s working families care about most. Gov. Scott’s legacy includes opposing paid family leave, refusing to increase the minimum wage, and ignoring climate change. At a time when Gov. Scott’s party continues to run to the far-right, the DGA will hold him accountable through November.”
