Today, DGA Chair North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper issued the following statement on Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham securing the New Mexico Democratic gubernatorial nomination:
“Gov. Lujan Grisham is an effective leader who has delivered for New Mexicans where it counts. Since taking office, she cut taxes and sent millions in direct economic relief to working families, while investing in a brighter future for New Mexico’s children with universal pre-K for four-year-olds, free college for residents, and higher salaries for teachers.
