DGA Statement on Gov. Jared Polis Advancing to the General Election for Governor of Colorado
DGA Chair North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper released the following statement in response to Gov. Jared Polis advancing to the general election for governor of Colorado:
“In his first term, Gov. Jared Polis has helped Coloradans hold on to the money they earn, grown the state’s economy, created safer communities, expanded free universal kindergarten and pre-k, and built a cleaner, healthier state. He signed legislation protecting reproductive freedom in the state and will always defend a woman’s right to choose.
“By focusing on these kitchen-table issues, Gov. Polis has delivered real results that will have a huge impact for Colorado families. The DGA is proud to support Gov. Polis in his run to continue this progress.”
