Today, DGA Chair Gov. Roy Cooper released the following statement regarding Gov. Janet Mills’ 2022 reelection campaign announcement:

“Gov. Janet Mills has delivered strong, bipartisan leadership for Maine families throughout her governorship. As she puts the needs of working people over partisan politics, Gov. Mills has focused on expanding access to health care, investing in public education and free community college, and taking sweeping climate action. The DGA looks forward to helping reelect Gov.
