DGA Chair New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham released the following statement regarding Gov. John Carney’s inauguration in Delaware:
“Congratulations to Gov. John Carney on his inauguration. Even in the midst of an unprecedented crisis, Gov. Carney made significant progress during his first term, while staying focused first and foremost on protecting public health. Gov. Carney fought for historic investments in public education and infrastructure, drove down health care costs, and boosted the state’s reserves.
“Gov. Carney’s strong, steady leadership before and during the pandemic has earned him a second term. I look forward to continuing to serve alongside Gov. John Carney and seeing all he will accomplish for Delaware.”
