DGA Statement on D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s Victory in D.C.

DGA Chair North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper released the following statement on D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s reelection in Washington D.C.:

“Congratulations to Mayor Muriel Bowser on her reelection victory tonight. Muriel has been a steadfast leader who has taken on the biggest issues facing the district, like diversifying the D.C. economy, creating affordable housing, and investing in a quality education for all district residents.

“The DGA officially welcomed Mayor Bowser to the organization last year, and we are proud to have her as a member.  We look forward to continuing our strong partnership.”
