Democratic Governors Association Vice Chair Gov. Laura Kelly released the following statement on Attorney General Bob Ferguson advancing to the general election in the Washington governor’s race.
“Congratulations to Attorney General Bob Ferguson on advancing to the general election for governor in Washington tonight. “Bob is the only candidate in this race with a track record of taking the fight to powerful interests and standing up for all Washingtonians. He has used his office to protect Washingtonians’ reproductive freedom, uphold workers’ rights, look out for consumers, protect the environment, and stand up for survivors of violent crime. I have full confidence that Bob Ferguson is the best choice to lead Washington forward and the DGA looks forward to working with Bob Ferguson from now through November, in support of his vision for a fairer, safer, and more prosperous Washington.”
