DGA Chair Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly released the following statement on Oregon Governor Tina Kotek running for reelection:
“Governor Kotek has been working hard to deliver for Oregon — reducing homelessness by building new shelter beds and increasing access to addiction and mental health services, lowering costs, expanding affordable child care, and fighting back against Medicaid cuts and Donald Trump’s unlawful deployment of the military on Oregon streets. She isn’t distracted by partisan politics and has worked with Democrats and Republicans to get things done, including funding for first responders and lowering prescription medication costs. Now, Governor Kotek is running for reelection to continue making every Oregon community safer, healthier, and more affordable.
