DGA-Backed Group Releases Third Spanish-Language Ad on Jack Ciattarelli’s Plans to Raise Costs for New Jersey
“Está claro que Ciattarelli no trabaja para la gente de New Jersey. Porque con él, terminaremos pagando más.”
This weekend, Greater Garden State, a group backed by the Democratic Governors Association, launched its third Spanish-language ad in New Jersey highlighting how Jack Ciattarelli will raise costs on hardworking families, including saying that a “ten percent sales tax on everything, including food and clothing” is “on the table.”
This ad is part of a $20 million reservation in TV, digital, and streaming ads running across New Jersey ahead of this year’s gubernatorial election, and the third in a series of ads exclusively in Spanish. Meanwhile, Ciattarelli’s campaign allies are “exclud[ing] disproportionately nonwhite areas” from their ad targeting as he insults Hispanic voters across New Jersey.
Ciattarelli has also repeatedly defended this punishing price hike, and endorsed Donald Trump’s chaotic tariffs and deeply unpopular budget – all of which are making life more expensive in the Garden State. His own running mate made it clear that Jack believes “taxes are on the table” for Garden State families, illustrating the lengths he is willing to go to make life more expensive in New Jersey.
