Billionaire Bruce is Running Scared
his morning, billionaire Bruce Rauner refused to take questions at his first event in Chicago and bailed on another campaign event in Moline rather than face voters demanding answers about his disastrous policies for the middle class. In response, DGA Deputy Communications Director Sabrina Singh issued the following statement:
“In the final days of his Republican primary campaign for governor, Billionaire Bruce Rauner is running scared. Rauner would seemingly rather brag about how he’s in the top .01% of Americans than answer questions about why he believes hard-working Illinoisans should have their wages cut so that his wealthy pals can rake in giant profits. If Billionaire Bruce’s strategy is to bail on events and dodge tough questions about his out-of-touch, right-wing policies, voters will surely hold him accountable.”
