And today, Chris Christie’s face speaks for all Republican governors, who are petrified of the captain at the helm of the 2016 GOP ship.
Last night, Republican Governors Association Chair Susana Martinez refused to tell the Associated Press whether she’d back Donald Trump as the GOP nominee. Martinez “sidestepped” Trump questions from an El Paso TV station on Tuesday.
“New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez won’t say if she will vote for Donald Trump if he is the Republican presidential nominee,” the AP reported.. “Her remarks come following a recent Associated Press survey of GOP senators and governors across the country that showed just under half of respondents would not commit to backing Trump if he’s the nominee.”
The RGA Chair’s no comment comes after she convened an “emergency conference call” on Monday with GOP governors, focused on Trump’s primary surge.
